M\u00e4rz 2019 im Berliner Invalidenpark. Bereits einige Tage zuvor hatte er f\u00fcr ein anderes Video auf seinem mittlerweile gesperrten YouTube-Kanal den Versammlungsort besucht und angek\u00fcndigt, von dort \u201eaufkl\u00e4ren und informieren\u201c zu wollen. Seine Follower*innen waren dazu aufgerufen, mit eigenen, \u201eklimaskeptischen\u201c Botschaften ebenfalls an der Demonstration teilzunehmen. In <em>Fridays for Future<\/em>-Kreisen war vor dem ungebetenen Besuch gewarnt worden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wer sich das knapp 20-min\u00fctige Video von Nerlings Demo-Besuch in voller L\u00e4nge anschaut, mag die Aufregung im Vorfeld zun\u00e4chst nicht nachvollziehen. Es handelt sich um einen Zusammenschnitt von belanglosen Szenen, in denen sich Nerling unter die Demonstrierenden mischt und das Geschehen ironisch bis abf\u00e4llig kommentiert. Der \u201eVolkslehrer\u201c, das wird schnell klar, will weniger dokumentieren als vielmehr die Protestierenden l\u00e4cherlich machen: Im Stil einer satirischen Reportage, mit rotem Mikrofon und \u00fcberdrehter Korrespondenten-Attit\u00fcde versucht er, Demo-Teilnehmer*innen als verblendet und naiv vorzuf\u00fchren, ohne dass diese sich dessen bewusst w\u00e4ren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Allerdings ist die Ablehnung der Organisator*innen ihm gegen\u00fcber verst\u00e4ndlich, denn Nerling ist kein Unbekannter: Der bis zu seiner Suspendierung im Mai 2018 an einer Berliner Grundschule t\u00e4tige Lehrer wurde mehrfach wegen Volksverhetzung verurteilt und gilt unter Holocaust-Leugner*innen und sogenannten Reichsb\u00fcrger*innen als Kultfigur. Seit sein YouTube-Kanal regelm\u00e4\u00dfig gesperrt wird, ist er vor allem auf Bitchute aktiv. Die Plattform fungiert f\u00fcr den internationalen Rechtsextremismus als Alternative zum strenger regulierten YouTube. Vor diesem Hintergrund rechtsextremer \u201aGegen\u00f6ffentlichkeit\u2018 ist auch das hier analysierte Video zu lesen. Denn Nerling versucht nicht nur, die Klimaschutz-Aktivist*innen zu verh\u00f6hnen. Wie sich im Verlauf des Videos zeigt, geht es ihm vor allem darum, sie in die reaktion\u00e4re Erz\u00e4hlung von linker Gewalt, bedrohter Meinungsfreiheit und staatlichem Kontrollverlust einzuspinnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Daf\u00fcr setzt das Video auf eine simple Skandal-Dramaturgie: Nach der heiteren Exposition l\u00e4sst Nerling die Handlungskurve ansteigen, indem er sich als unerw\u00fcnschte Person inszeniert. Die Aufnahme von zwei Demonstrantinnen, die sich seinem Mikrofon verweigern, wird nachtr\u00e4glich untertitelt mit: \u201eErste Behinderungen meiner journalistischen Arbeit seitens des Veranstalters zeichnen sich ab.\u201c Als Nerling kurz darauf von einem Ordner gebeten wird, den Platz zu verlassen, beschwert er sich bei einem sich unbeeindruckt zeigenden Polizisten, er sei \u201eangerempelt\u201c und \u201egen\u00f6tigt\u201c worden. Daf\u00fcr finden sich in seinen Aufnahmen zwar keinerlei Belege \u2013 aber der Ton f\u00fcr das weitere Geschehen ist gesetzt, die Rollen sind verteilt: Die Protestierenden werden als gewaltt\u00e4tige Feinde einer freien Berichterstattung gezeichnet, Nerling ist das vermeintliche Opfer, und die Polizei kann die Pressefreiheit nicht sch\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Als ein Demonstrant versucht, einer am Rand stehenden Gruppe von Gegendemonstrant*innen ihre Schilder zu entrei\u00dfen \u2013 diese zeigen ein Cover des rechtsextremen Compact-Magazins \u2013, l\u00e4uft die Handlung auf den H\u00f6hepunkt zu (Untertitel: \u201eErste gewaltt\u00e4tige \u00dcbergriffe von Linksextremen&#8230;\u201c). Die n\u00e4chste Szene zeigt, wie die rechten Gegendemonstrant*innen von einigen Antifa-Aktivist*innen unter nachdr\u00fccklichen \u201eHaut ab!\u201c-Rufen, aber ohne k\u00f6rperliche Gewalt, vom Platz geleitet werden (Untertitel: \u201e&#8230;m\u00fcnden in eine hysterische lynchmob-artige Atmosph\u00e4re\u201c). Als die Polizei Nerling kurz darauf wegen der Unruhe um seine Person von der Versammlung ausschlie\u00dft, triumphiert er kaum verhohlen, sich als Protagonist einer Bewegung gerierend: \u201eWir haben wieder mal bewiesen, dass das freie Wort unterdr\u00fcckt wird.\u201c Nerling missbraucht so die Rolle des Berichterstatters, um Sachverhalte zu verdrehen und abseitige Behauptungen aufzustellen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nerlings Auftritt kann als typisches Beispiel f\u00fcr rechtsextreme Aufmerksamkeitsstrategien im Social Web dienen: Durch Provokation, gespielte Emp\u00f6rung und subtile Szene-Codes wird das Sichtbare so umgedeutet, dass es das eigene Weltbild zu best\u00e4tigen scheint. Es dominieren plumpe Behauptungen und geraunte Vermutungen, die in Verbindung mit dem Reportage-Stil vermeintliche Evidenz und Nachrichtenwert erlangen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das Video l\u00e4sst sich als Versuch verstehen, in einer rechtsextremen \u201aGegen\u00f6ffentlichkeit\u2018 Zustimmung zu erlangen und das reale Personenverh\u00e4ltnis auf der Veranstaltung (ca. 25 000 Protestierende f\u00fcr den Klimawandel gegen\u00fcber einer kleinen Anzahl von Provokateur*innen) in einen konstruierten Kampf um Kommunikationsmacht zu verkehren. Daf\u00fcr ist es elementar, dass die Inszenierung durch das Mitwirken anderer \u2013 in physischer Anwesenheit und online \u2013 best\u00e4tigt wird. Im Gespr\u00e4ch mit einem scheinbar zuf\u00e4llig getroffenen Sympathisanten (\u201emeinem Aufruf gefolgt\u201c) behauptet Nerling darum gegen Ende des Videos, es seien noch mehr seiner Anh\u00e4nger*innen vor Ort gewesen (er \u201ehabe nur nicht alle gesehen &#8230;\u201c). Tats\u00e4chlich findet sich auf YouTube ein siebenmin\u00fctiger Demo-Livestream, indem ein User angibt, \u201edem Ruf des Volkslehrers gefolgt\u201c zu sein, ihn aber nicht finden zu k\u00f6nnen. In anderen Videos wird auf den von Nerling behaupteten \u201eSkandal\u201c Bezug genommen und gegen den \u201eKlimafaschismus\u201c, gegen \u201emilitante Antifas\u201c und gegen Greta Thunberg gehetzt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wie oft das Video tats\u00e4chlich angesehen wurde, l\u00e4sst sich nicht sagen, da es von YouTube mehrfach gel\u00f6scht wurde. Die verf\u00fcgbaren Zahlen aber sprechen daf\u00fcr, dass es vor allem in einer kleinen, radikalisierten Kommunikationsblase rezipiert wird. Wenn dem an sich unspektakul\u00e4ren Video also keine Breitenwirkung attestiert werden kann, so steht es doch exemplarisch f\u00fcr eine Reihe \u00e4hnlicher Webvideo-Inszenierungen, mit denen Rechtsextreme (Beatrix von Storch, Lisa Licentia&#8230;) im Rahmen demokratischer Stra\u00dfenproteste, Aufmerksamkeit provozieren. Die Penetranz dieser Indienstnahme geht mit der Gefahr einer Verbreitung rechtsextremer Positionen jenseits etablierter Netzwerke einher.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Tobias
