Oktober 2020 tritt die belarussische K\u00fcnstlerin Ulyana Nevzorova in der Minsker Metro mit einem wei\u00dfen Blatt Papier mit der Aufschrift \u201eDieses Plakat k\u00f6nnte der Grund f\u00fcr meine Festnahme sein\u201c auf. Die junge Frau steht bewegungslos in der Mitte des vollbesetzten Wagens und h\u00e4lt das Banner direkt vor sich. Die improvisierte Mahnwache entwickelt sich zu einem interaktiven Happening, das von einer unbeweglichen Kamera aufgezeichnet wird.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die frontale horizontale Halbnahaufnahme mit dem schnittlosen Handlungsablauf vermittelt den Eindruck einer bewegten Fotografie. Die passive Kamera verr\u00e4t ihre Anwesenheit nicht, sondern konzentriert sich ganz auf das Geschehen, das sich spontan im Bild entfaltet. Das leichte Wackeln, die Unsch\u00e4rfe des Webvideos und der Verzicht auf den Schnitt sind konventionelle Marker f\u00fcr Authentizit\u00e4t im Video (Fahlenbrach 2019), w\u00e4hrend gleichzeitig die symmetrische, betont gestellte Komposition deutlich dagegenspricht. Die K\u00fcnstlerin steht genau in der Mitte des Wagens und wird von oben durch ein zentrales weiches Lampenlicht beleuchtet, wobei auch der Kamerablitz auf sie gerichtet ist. Die Frau mit dem Plakat ist das am deutlichsten herausragende Element der Komposition und wird zudem durch die Lichtgestaltung so in den Vordergrund ger\u00fcckt, dass sie als semantisches Zentrum des Bildes erscheint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Reisenden befinden sich am Rande des Bildausschnitts. In den ersten Sekunden versucht eine Frau von links, der K\u00fcnstlerin das Plakat aus den H\u00e4nden zu entrei\u00dfen, dann zoomt die Kamera etwas heraus, um rechts einen emp\u00f6rten Mann zu erfassen. Nun stellt die Halbtotale die Beziehung zwischen der K\u00fcnstlerin und den zuf\u00e4lligen Teilnehmer*innen des Happenings in den Mittelpunkt. Die Einstellungsgr\u00f6\u00dfe l\u00e4sst auch die Gestik und Mimik der Anwesenden erkennen, die im Gegensatz zur Ausdruckslosigkeit der K\u00fcnstlerin ein breites Spektrum verschiedener Emotionen von Irritation bis zu Zustimmung zeigen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Gespr\u00e4che der Anwesenden sind kaum zu verstehen: \u201cSchande! Keine Ausbildung, keine Lebenserfahrung, gar nichts. Was steht sie denn da herum? Sie soll festgenommen werden\u201d. In diesem Konflikt zeigt die dokumentierende und scheinbar neutrale Kamera ihre parteiische Position, indem sie die protestierende Frau in die Mitte stellt, ihre Wahrnehmungsperspektive vermittelt und so f\u00fcr sie Partei ergreift. W\u00e4hrend ein junger Mann im Hintergrund eine wei\u00df-rot-wei\u00dfe Fahne entrollt, ert\u00f6nt eine emp\u00f6rte Frauenstimme. Die solidarische Protestfahne schlie\u00dft den Kurzfilm ab, wodurch der Konflikt symbolisch zu Gunsten der Protestierenden aufgel\u00f6st wird.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die statische Bildkomposition, der allt\u00e4gliche Schauplatz, die geringe Beleuchtung, der rauschige Ton und die gem\u00e4chliche Handlung sorgen f\u00fcr den Authentizit\u00e4tseffekt des Webvideos, das beansprucht, eine wahrheitsgetreue Wiedergabe des allt\u00e4glichen Geschehens zu sein. Tats\u00e4chlich f\u00e4ngt die Kamera die Menschen bei einer gew\u00f6hnlichen Metro-Fahrt ein. Dennoch finden sie sich in einem improvisierten k\u00fcnstlerischen Akt vor der Kamera wieder. Bei Nevzorovas Aktion handelt es sich also um ein Happening. Das Video ist weniger ein Abbild der Alltagsrealit\u00e4t als eine Art <em>performative Fotografie<\/em> (\u201eperformed photography\u201c), inszeniert nicht f\u00fcr ein unmittelbar anwesendes, sondern f\u00fcr ein fernes (Online-)Publikum. Das hei\u00dft, der Raum des audiovisuellen Dokuments wird so zum prim\u00e4ren Raum, in dem sich die Performance ereignet (Auslander 2006).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Kamera ist dabei kein neutrales Werkzeug zur Dokumentation der Geschehnisse, sondern wird selbst zu einem Element der Performance. Blo\u00df durch ihre sichtbare Pr\u00e4senz vor Ort l\u00e4sst sie das Geschehen als ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Ereignis erscheinen, das es zu beobachten gilt. So erregt sie die Aufmerksamkeit des anwesenden Publikums. Das aus dieser Situation entstehende Webvideo dokumentiert das Geschehen, verfremdet es aber auch f\u00fcr die abwesenden Zuschauer*innen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Indem zum Beispiel die Frau mit dem Plakat im Zentrum des symmetrischen Bildes steht und direkt in die Kamera blickt, wird ein Verfremdungseffekt im Sinne Bertolt Brechts (Brecht 1967) erzeugt und eine kritische Distanz zum Dargestellten erm\u00f6glicht (Shklovsky 1970).
