Heinz Nigg and his “Rebel Video” will be touring the US, Canada and Europe in the coming months. The book launch tour with screenings and discussions starts today, 12.03, at the California University of the Arts in San Francisco.
REBEL VIDEO is a research project (and a book) on video activism in the 1970s and 80s, and on the struggle to develop a participatory medium of expression for the many, not just the few. Heinz Nigg takes the book on a tour to stimulate discussion and to be able to present some of the featured works. Follow his journey on Facebook, or find further information on the project’s website.
